Mason/Bricklayer

A reputable construction company in Isa Town is seeking a skilled Mason/Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in masonry and bricklaying, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. As a Mason/Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, floors, patios, chimneys, and other structures using various materials such as bricks, blocks, stones, and concrete. You must also have knowledge of plumbing and carpentry in order to properly install fixtures and fittings within the structures.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Align bricks or stones and finish surfaces by hand or using tools
- Repair cracks or chipped areas on existing structures
- Install fixtures such as pipes or electrical wires within structures
- Clean up job site after completing work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason/Bricklayer
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
- Extensive knowledge of different materials used in masonry work
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
- Team player with excellent communication skills
