DevOps Developer (Contract) - Ashdod, Israel


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in Ashdod, Israel. As a DevOps Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software products. Your primary focus will be on automating and streamlining our operations and processes to ensure faster delivery and improved quality. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, excellent knowledge of relevant tools and technologies, and a passion for continuous improvement. This is an urgent contract position with potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software products.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using configuration management tools.
- Troubleshoot issues in production environments and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Document processes, procedures, configurations, and changes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
- Solid experience with scripting (e.g. Bash, Python).
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Ruby).
- Experience working with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1600$ per month.
