Preservation Architect Assistant

We are seeking a talented and passionate Preservation Architect Assistant to join our team in Almada. As an assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced architects to preserve and restore historic buildings and structures. This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$ per month. This position does not require previous experience, making it a great opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of preservation architecture. Accommodation will not be provided, so this position is best suited for candidates already living in or willing to relocate to Almada. In this role, you will assist with on-site surveys, historical research, and documentation of buildings and structures. You will also have the opportunity to participate in preservation projects from start to finish, working alongside experienced architects and other professionals in the field. Your responsibilities will include preparing drawings and diagrams, conducting site visits, and collaborating with project teams on design solutions.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of architectural principles and techniques, as well as a passion for preserving historic buildings. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural software is preferred but not required.
