Contract Interpreter (Faro, Portugal)



We are currently seeking a skilled and professional Contract Interpreter to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This is a contract position and does not include accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events
- Act as a cultural mediator to help individuals understand each other's customs and traditions
- Translate written documents from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and tone
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and maintain the privacy of all parties involved
- Conduct research on specialized terminology and stay updated on industry-specific terminology

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven experience as an interpreter or related role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends if needed

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
