Junior Accountant - Hawalli, Kuwait


We are a dynamic accounting firm based in Hawalli, Kuwait and we are currently searching for a Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of employees
- Handle tax filings and other government compliance requirements
- Support senior accountants with month-end close procedures
- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation
- Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards is preferred

Salary:
1500$ per month (tax-free) + accommodation provided
