Job Title: Excavator Operator



As an Excavator Operator in Almada, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth in a safe and efficient manner. Your role will involve working on various construction sites, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator machine safely and efficiently according to job site requirements
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor
- Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities
- Dig trenches and excavate foundations according to project specifications
- Load, unload, and move materials using the excavator
- Ensure safety of personnel on the job site at all times
- Maintain a clean work area by removing debris and cleaning up spills
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator in a construction or similar setting
- Valid operator’s license for the equipment you will be operating
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary:
As an Excavator Operator in Almada with accommodation provided, you can expect a salary of $1500 per month.
