Crane Operator for Contract Position in Nizwa


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Crane Operator to join our team in Nizwa on a contract basis. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to move heavy materials on construction sites. This is a great opportunity for someone without prior experience to gain valuable skills and training in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes according to job requirements and safety standards
- Inspect equipment before use and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Secure loads properly and ensure safe movement of materials
- Communicate with ground crew and other team members to coordinate crane movements
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and diagrams related to crane operation
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication skills, especially with ground crew and other team members

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience operating cranes on construction sites is an asset but not required
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this contract position.
