Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Faro. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your primary role will be to ensure safe and efficient operation of the equipment while following all relevant safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor equipment operations and report any malfunctions or issues
- Follow safety guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Complete daily logs and records of work performed
- Adhere to project timelines and meet productivity goals
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid biometric passport for international travel (preferred)
- Ability to work full time with flexible hours as needed
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks on heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
