Executive Chef in Muscat, Oman
We are a renowned hotel in Muscat, Oman seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our dynamic culinary team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing menus, managing the kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that reflect the local and international cuisine
- Manage food inventory and ordering to maintain high quality standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Monitor food preparation methods to ensure consistency and quality
- Oversee kitchen budget, cost control, and profitability
- Implement health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and presentation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Good understanding of cost control measures to maintain profitability
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Nepali is a plus)
- Must have a biometric passport for visa purposes
