The role of a cashier is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a retail establishment. As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Accept payments in the form of cash, credit or debit cards
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor when stocks are running low
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Actively promote store promotions and loyalty programs to customers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience in a customer service role preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Location:
This full-time position is located in Akron, Ohio. While English proficiency is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1200 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
