Body Repair Technician

As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This includes performing bodywork, painting, and replacing damaged parts. You will use your knowledge of vehicle mechanics and tools to assess damages and determine the best repair methods. Your attention to detail and precision will ensure that all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Perform bodywork on damaged vehicles, including sanding, filling, and shaping
- Apply paint to repaired areas using spray guns or brushes
- Replace damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors
- Use diagnostic tools to assess damages and determine repair methods
- Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with customers to explain repair procedures and provide updates on progress
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Body Repair Technician or similar role
- Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and repair techniques
- Knowledge of tools used in body repair such as sanders, spray guns, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physical strength and stamina for working with heavy equipment and standing for long periods of time

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Automotive Technology or related field
- Prior experience working in an automotive repair shop
Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)
