Contract Web Developer (Funchal)


We are currently seeking a skilled Contract Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-friendly websites and applications, ensuring they are optimized for maximum speed and scalability. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create high-quality, visually appealing websites that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client websites and applications using modern web technologies
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing user interfaces
- Write clean, well-documented code that is optimized for speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of websites
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Familiarity with responsive design principles
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on e-commerce websites
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Photoshop or Illustrator
