Tutor for English Language Learners in Almada, Portugal

As a tutor for English language learners in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction to students of all ages and levels. You will work closely with students to assess their needs and develop customized lesson plans and materials to help them improve their English skills. This is a contract position that includes accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions with students
- Assess student's current level of English proficiency and identify areas for improvement
- Develop personalized lesson plans and materials based on student's needs and goals
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to lesson plans as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student's progress
- Stay up-to-date on teaching methods and techniques for teaching English as a second language

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field (TEFL/TESOL certification preferred)
- Fluency in English (native speaker preferred)
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching English as a second language
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different learning styles
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to relocate to Almada, Portugal for the duration of the contract

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
