Mine Operator (Miner) - Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mine Operator (Miner) to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Mine Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to extract minerals from the earth. This is a physically demanding job that requires excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling equipment to extract minerals from the ground
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Inspect machinery for any malfunctions or defects and report any issues to supervisors
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating machinery
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate activities and ensure efficient production
- Record and maintain production data and reports

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mine Operator or similar role
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as drills, loaders, excavators, etc.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in mining operations
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Salary: $1200 per month
