Gardener (Malindi, Kenya)



We are hiring a skilled and experienced Gardener to maintain and enhance the landscapes of our clients in Malindi, Kenya. The ideal candidate should have a passion for gardening and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Planting, watering, pruning, fertilizing and weeding gardens and flower beds
- Trimming hedges, shrubs, and trees to maintain desired shape and size
- Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Assisting with landscape design projects
- Communicating with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener or similar role
- Knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, etc.
- Attention to detail for maintaining clean and neat gardens

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this contract position.
