Job Title: Carpenter


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing various structures and fixtures made of wood, including furniture, cabinets, and framework for buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure
- Measure, cut and shape wood according to measurements provided
- Install structures and fixtures such as floors, doors, windows, trim etc.
- Inspect and replace damaged or rotting wood
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Good understanding of different wood types and their uses
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending and lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
