Floral Designer

As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique and visually appealing floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and corporate events. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences and provide suggestions for floral designs that align with their vision. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that every arrangement is of the highest quality and meets the client's expectations. You will also be responsible for sourcing and purchasing flowers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all arrangements are delivered on time. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for design, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their floral needs and provide design recommendations
- Create visually appealing floral arrangements for weddings, parties, corporate events, etc.
- Source and purchase flowers from wholesalers or local markets
- Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies
- Arrange delivery of flowers to venues or clients
- Ensure all arrangements are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm new designs and stay updated on industry trends
- Keep track of expenses and maintain budgets for each project
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements
- Creativity in designing unique floral arrangements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in budgeting and expense tracking
- Flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes or requests from clients

Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Floral Design or related field
- Previous experience working at a florist shop or event planning company
Salary: $1000 per month
Location: Porto, Portugal
