Junior Librarian

We are seeking a Junior Librarian to join our team in Faisalabad. As a librarian, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the organization and maintenance of library materials. This is a contract position with accommodation provided, ideal for freshers looking to gain experience in the library field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in cataloging and classifying library materials using standard systems
- Organize and shelve books, journals, and other resources according to established procedures
- Help patrons locate materials and answer questions about library services
- Process new books and materials for circulation
- Assist with inventory control and collection management
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and implement library programs and events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of library classification systems and cataloging principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1000/month (salary may vary based on qualifications)
