Job Title: Machine Operator - Faro, Portugal


We are hiring a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and running various machines to meet production requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various machines including but not limited to lathes, mills, drills, grinders and saws
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running efficiently and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make any necessary adjustments to maintain standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery as needed
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding any production or quality concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is essential
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or defects in finished products
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues as they arise
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
