Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Faro. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. You will also be responsible for providing financial analysis and reports to support decision making. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, and excellent communication and analytical skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify potential errors or discrepancies
- Provide financial analysis to support decision making by management
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Train and mentor junior team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA certification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards (GAAP)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
