Architectural Designer for Innovative Design Firm in Akron


We are seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team in Akron. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts that meet client requirements
- Create detailed drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility
- Research building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance with all requirements
- Prepare presentations and participate in client meetings to present design proposals
- Work with contractors during construction phase to ensure design integrity is maintained

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software programs
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience working on sustainable or LEED certified projects
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software

Salary:
