Senior Software Developer


We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Eschen, Africa. As a senior member of the software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with other developers and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for continuous learning and improvement. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, without accommodation but free visa and ticket provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate with other developers and project managers to understand project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes or technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with front-end web development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working on large-scale projects or enterprise-level applications
- Knowledge of database design and SQL query optimization techniques
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
