A reputable manufacturing company in Akron, USA is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Cut, shape, and fit metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Weld or solder parts together to assemble structural forms or products
- Install mechanical components such as bearings, motors, pumps, valves, and piping systems
- Conduct tests on assembled equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with equipment or machinery

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Familiarity with various hand tools and welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this full-time position.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
