Fitter - Contract Position in Akron, USA


We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team on a contract basis in Akron, USA. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components according to blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine assembly requirements
- Measure and cut materials to specified lengths
- Use hand tools and welding equipment to assemble components
- Ensure all components are aligned and fit together properly
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the assembly process
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other assembly tools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot any discrepancies or defects in finished products
- Physically able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals looking for short-term employment.
