Instrument Technician - Lusail, Qatar

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of industrial instruments and equipment. You will work with a team of technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning correctly and safely. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and experience in the field of instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, thermocouples, and transmitters
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accuracy and proper functioning
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in instruments using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment
- Document all maintenance activities including repairs and replacements
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with electrical equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation or a related field preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Familiarity with different types of instrumentation systems used in industrial settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or at heights if required
