Executive Chef

A prestigious restaurant in the beautiful city of Acre is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, managing food costs and inventory, and overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. The ideal candidate must have a culinary degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences are essential. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per week and opportunities for growth within our expanding company. Canadian nationality preferred but not required. No English language proficiency required for this position.

As an Executive Chef, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing creative menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect the restaurant's style
- Managing food costs by monitoring inventory levels, creating efficient recipes, and minimizing waste
- Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health codes
- Collaborating with other departments to plan special events or promotional menus
- Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

The ideal candidate will have:

- A culinary degree from a recognized institution
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine-dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and train a team
- Creativity in menu development and presentation
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and budgeting techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other departments effectively
