Entry-level Truck Driver

As an entry-level truck driver, you will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials between locations within the city of Manama. Your main duties will include loading and unloading cargo, planning and following delivery routes, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. This position does not require any previous experience, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career as a truck driver.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan delivery routes and follow them according to schedule
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time logs, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for operating commercial trucks in Manama (CDL not required)
- Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately
- Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations within Manama
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of cargo as needed
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight delivery schedules
- Basic math skills for recording mileage, fuel usage, etc.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers

Salary: This position offers a starting salary of $1300 per month.

Location: This job is based in Manama, Bahrain.
