As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and skylights. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting glass to fit specific dimensions, installing glass using various tools and techniques, and ensuring that the glass is properly sealed and secured. You will also be responsible for removing old or broken glass and replacing it with new glass. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and good hand-eye coordination.

Your responsibilities as a Glazier may include but are not limited to:

- Measuring and cutting glass to fit specific dimensions
- Installing glass using various tools such as putty knives, drills, suction cups
- Ensuring that the glass is properly sealed and secured
- Removing old or broken glass and replacing it with new glass
- Handling different types of glass including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Following safety protocols while handling sharp objects and working at heights
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Collaborating with other construction professionals such as carpenters or architects
- Maintaining a clean work area and ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role
- Excellent measurement skills using tools such as rulers or calipers
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with different types of glass including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work at heights
- Understanding of safety protocols while working with sharp objects.

Location:
This position is based in Karachi but we welcome applicants of any nationality who have their own visa. This is a contract job without accommodation provided.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
