Junior Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Braga. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial management of our company. This is a full-time position that requires previous experience in accounting.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding financial matters

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
