Junior Accountant
Location: Almada, Portugal


We are a financial services company seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Almada. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset records
- Assist with tax filings as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken)
