Job Title: Senior Accountant



We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Almada. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to guide business decisions
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a Senior Accountant or similar position
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments

Salary:
$1200 per month with accommodation provided. Own visa jobs available for all nationalities.
