Part-Time Information Security Analyst

A fast-growing tech company in Lisbon is seeking a part-time Information Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's information systems and data. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the field of information security.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems and logs to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies in the information security industry
- Assist with incident response and investigations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, databases, web applications, and cloud technologies
- Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work part-time hours (20 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in information security or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR)
