Executive Chef - Nairobi, Kenya
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Nairobi. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, overseeing food preparation and presentation, managing inventory and budgets, and leading and training our culinary team.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting. You should have a strong understanding of international cuisine and be able to create unique and innovative dishes that cater to our diverse clientele.
As this position requires you to work closely with both front-of-house staff and management, excellent communication skills are essential. You should also have strong leadership abilities and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A valid biometric passport is preferred for this position as it may involve international travel for events or training purposes. This job is open to all nationalities, however Canadian nationals with English language skills will be given preference.
