Executive Chef

The Executive Chef will oversee the entire kitchen operations and be responsible for developing and executing culinary concepts and menus. They will manage a team of chefs, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining establishments, possess strong leadership skills, and have a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month, located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar.

The candidate must be fluent in English and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. This is a seasonal job with the potential for extension based on performance. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have valid residency or work permit in Qatar. Biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and cater to diverse tastes
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and food cost to meet budgetary requirements
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management team to plan special events or themed dinners

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in fine dining establishments
- Culinary degree/diploma preferred but not required
- Knowledge of international cuisines and ability to create innovative dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid residency or work permit in Qatar (accommodation not provided)
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required
