Mason - Construction and Maintenance Worker

As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing buildings and other structures. Your main duties will include laying bricks, stones, and other materials to form walls, partitions, arches, and other structures according to blueprints and specifications. You will also be required to mix mortar or grout and spread it onto bricks or blocks using hand tools or machines. Additionally, you may need to use cutting tools to shape bricks or stones for custom projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Mason or in a similar construction and maintenance position. You should also have strong knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties. Attention to detail is crucial as you will need to ensure that all structures are built accurately according to specifications. Good physical strength is also important as the job can involve heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.

- Using cutting tools to shape bricks or stones
- Cleaning excess cement from finished surfaces
- Repairing cracks or damaged areas on existing structures

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Mason or in a similar construction/maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of building materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Good physical strength and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Own visa or ability to work part-time in Jeddah
- Pakistani national preferred with good English communication skills
