Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager (Funchal, Portugal)
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue and increasing sales for our hotel through strategic planning, market analysis, and building strong relationships with clients. Your primary goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and trends
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and presentations
- Monitor market trends, competition, and pricing strategies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Manage a team of sales professionals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions based on data
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Familiarity with revenue management techniques
- Biometric passport required for international travel
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
