Instrument Technician



We are a leading engineering company in Braga and we are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to properly install and maintain instruments.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop solutions for complex instrumentation problems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with potentially hazardous materials.

Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
