Job Title: Librarian

The Beer-Sheva Library is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to library patrons, managing the library's collection, and assisting with library programs and events. This position requires strong communication and computer skills, as well as a passion for literature and learning.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons in locating materials and answering reference questions
- Manage the library's collection, including cataloging and weeding
- Oversee the circulation of materials, including checking items in/out and enforcing library policies
- Plan and execute library programs and events for all ages
- Create displays and promote new materials to increase patron engagement
- Maintain the library's online presence through social media and website updates
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services and improve existing ones

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Experience working in a library setting preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of library software systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of current trends in literature, technology, and information services
