Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Muharraq. As a Pastry Chef, your main responsibility will be to create delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our customers. You will also be in charge of managing the pastry section of our kitchen, ensuring that all items are prepared to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality desserts and pastries that meet the standards of our restaurant
- Plan and implement new pastry menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee the production of all pastry items, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety standards
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support when needed
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure a smooth flow of operations in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry section, following sanitation regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- A passion for creating unique and delicious desserts
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and pastry decorations
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred but not required
