Executive Pastry Chef
As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all pastries and desserts in our high-end restaurant in Al-Malikiyah. You will lead a team of pastry chefs and bakers to deliver exceptional pastries that are both visually appealing and delicious. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage a team will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry and dessert menu items that align with our restaurant's concept and cuisine
- Oversee the production of all pastries, ensuring they are of high quality and consistent with our standards
- Train and supervise a team of pastry chefs and bakers, providing coaching and feedback to improve their skills
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the executive chef to plan menus, specials, and events
- Ensure all pastry orders are delivered on time for events or catering orders
- Manage costs by monitoring food waste, controlling portion sizes, and minimizing expenses
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Excellent knowledge of different types of pastries, desserts, baking techniques, and ingredients
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Fluent in Arabic (preferred) or English

$1500 per month
