Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's digital assets and sensitive information. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential security risks and implementing measures to protect our systems and data. This role is based in Faro, Portugal and comes with a salary of 1300$ per month with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity
- Develop and implement security protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data protection
- Perform penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems
- Investigate security breaches and take necessary actions to mitigate their impact
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of information security concepts, tools, and techniques
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Metasploit
- Familiarity with network protocols and security infrastructure
- Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- CISSP or other relevant certifications are a plus
