Executive Chef - Khasab, Oman
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Khasab, Oman. As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus that meet the standards of the resort and appeal to our diverse clientele
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen expenses to maintain profitability
- Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management on special events and menu planning
- Maintain relationships with local suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisine, culinary techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Creativity in menu design and a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or 8 years as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proficiency in English is preferred but not required.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month. Our company offers temporary housing for employees during their contract period. Indian nationals are encouraged to apply.
