Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Dickirch is seeking an experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and antennas. You will also be involved in the installation and calibration of new equipment and ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcasting systems. This position requires a strong background in electronics and experience working with radio equipment. The ideal candidate will also have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on all radio equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and make necessary repairs
- Install new equipment and calibrate as needed
- Monitor signal strength and quality
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of broadcasting systems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with radio equipment
- Knowledge of circuitry, transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50lbs)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Electronics or related field
- Experience working in a broadcasting environment
- Knowledge of FCC regulations for radio broadcasting
