Carpenter - Construction Worker in Muscat, Oman



We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate should have experience in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, roofing, and finishing work. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, taking measurements, and cutting materials to build structures such as walls, roofs, and floors. You should also have knowledge of different types of wood and construction materials. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and use different types of tools
- Knowledge of wood types and construction materials
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
- Good mathematical skills for measuring and calculating quantities
- Great attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:
- Study specifications in blueprints and take measurements to plan the layout for construction projects
- Cut, shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Build structures such as walls, roofs, floors using different types of wood
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings
- Inspect work progress to ensure that it meets the project specifications
- Repair any damages or defects in existing structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times on site
