Instrument Technician

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial, commercial, and scientific settings. This includes but is not limited to instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and level indicators. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and accurately. This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail to troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments according to manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Troubleshoot any issues with malfunctioning instruments and make necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed on instruments
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on projects or equipment upgrades
- Stay updated on new technology and industry developments related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an instrument technician in an industrial or commercial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and instrumentation principles
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols at all times

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nizwa, Oman (candidate preference for Indian nationals)
