As a Machine Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools used to shape metal or other materials to create precision parts for machines or equipment. Your main duties will include setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders and other machine tools to perform precision machining operations. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings to determine the specifications of the parts to be manufactured.

Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a machine turner in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Proficient in using various types of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and dexterity for standing, bending and lifting heavy materials
- Good communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various types of machine tools to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to determine the specifications of the parts to be manufactured
- Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and gauges to ensure accuracy of measurements
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machines and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
