Turner - Metal Machinist

Our metalworking company in Osijek is seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the production of metal parts and components. You will work with lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other equipment to shape and cut metal into specific sizes and shapes according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other metalworking machines
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine product requirements
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Adhere to safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Knowledge of different types of metal alloys and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Must have own visa or be eligible for employment in Osijek
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for full-time)
