Preservation Architect

We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Karachi. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. Your main duties will include conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on historical buildings and structures to understand their original design and materials used
- Creating detailed preservation plans that adhere to local codes and regulations
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of the building during restoration
- Overseeing restoration projects, including managing budgets, timelines, and quality control
- Utilizing sustainable practices in preservation efforts to minimize environmental impact
- Documenting all stages of the preservation process for record-keeping purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles and building materials
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills

This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates.
