We are currently seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Technician to join our team in Pula, Croatia. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a blast furnace environment and be able to perform various tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the furnace. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace equipment according to safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and identify any maintenance needs or issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with the furnace
- Monitor production levels and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of production data, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur on site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the blast furnace

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to blast furnace operations
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Croatian is a plus)
- Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
