Database Administrator (DBA) - Beer-Sheva, Israel



As a Database Administrator (DBA) for our company in Beer-Sheva, Israel, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems. Your main duties will include designing, implementing, and optimizing databases, ensuring data security and integrity, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database solutions in accordance with business needs
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient operation
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain database documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical support
- Stay updated on new database technologies and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and database management systems (Oracle, MySQL)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly under pressure
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Salary: $1300 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)
